Day of the Tentacle: Wasted Land News Update

Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Land info pageSo Tomas has finished doing the Lovecraft eZine online chat (which you can follow the link and see!), so we thought we’d just a re-cap on recent news from us here are the Red Wasp Hive HQ. The new DLC/In-App purchase is now out for iOS.  If you update the app, you can buy the new levels now.  Full info is here and help is here.  Here’s what Gamezebo are saying:

“While it is fun fighting zombies, we figured it would also be fun controlling zombies… and in Kaul’s Diary, that is exactly what you get to do,” said designer Tomas Rawlings in a press release. It’s a hard line of logic to argue with, really, and it sounds like a great piece of content for fans of the game who yearn for more. And given said game’s caliber of quality, I have to imagine a whole lot of people fit that bill.

And PocketTactics (from whom we borrowed the title of this post):

I’m quite excited about the chance to play Cthulhu’s minions, but what I want next is a game that lets me play as Cthulhu. Yes, yes, I know about Cthulhu Saves The World but in that game the Great Old One is the good guy – that’s exactly what I’m not talking about. All of these games about an ancient monster of inconceivable horror and there’s not one where you play as him and have to drive the world mad. A bit Chekov’s gun, that.

Kaul’s Diary: On the Plains of Leng

As well as the news levels, the iOS update also adds (for free) updated content to the game around the authenticity of the medical equipment in the game.  There is more about that here.

Ingame WW1 Gas Mask

Finally (for now) we’re on Steam’s Greenlight.  This is a system that allows indie developers (like us) to share a game that we’d like to put onto the main store with the Steam community and they can comment on and vote on the game.  So if you’re a Steam user, please head over to our Greenlight page and vote for us.  Thanks!  (We’d did a new trailer to celebrate this, which is below!)
